Welcoming Aldersgate Village is a faith-based senior living neighborhood, open to people of all denominations and faith backgrounds. Our purpose is driven not by a profit motive, but rather to ensure that seniors in this region receive compassionate, person-centered healthcare in a warm and welcoming community.
Our Christian and socially responsible mission is to serve and advocate for those advanced in age. By actively engaging mind, body, and spirit, we ensure seniors receive love, care, respect, and dignity in their most vulnerable years.

OUR HERITAGE
Serving the Topeka community since 1904
Aldersgate Village owns and operates one of Kansas’ largest life plan communities. We opened our current location in Topeka, Kansas in 1979. This 168-acre, campus offers 156 independent living apartments, villas, garden homes and cottages as well as 59 assisted living units and 36 home plus units.
Out Patient Clinic
Our outpatient clinic is available to all residents, independent living, home plus and assisted living. Our nursing staff will coordinate with your specialist to schedule a clinic visit.

MAIN LOBBY TRANSFORMATION
The main lobby and reception area in Manchester Lodge is a flexible, community-friendly space to benefit the independent living residents and their guests. From afternoon coffee to the big game to watch, this "living room" is an attractive showcase to provide residents with warm, spacious and comfortable social environments.
AGE-IN-PLACE VILLAS AND COTTAGES
To give elders peace of mind in modern, comfortable surroundings, we offer six, 2,000-square-foot villas and six, 1,700 square-foot cottages equipped with integrated adaptive technologies. Our goal is to help aging adults live independently longer. The villas and cottages boast open floor plans with high-end features and advanced technology monitoring systems to provide comforting safety and security.
HOME PLUS
Our home plus, named "Nancy's Place," dedicated to those with memory care needs, offers 12 private suites, complete with bathrooms and showers. The suites are arranged around comfortable shared spaces, including a great room, dining area, kitchen, quiet room, and outdoor courtyard. This innovative design makes Nancy's Place feel like a welcoming family home.
NEW FRONT ENTRANCE
We have redesigned our 29th Street entrance by adding signage monuments, lighting and a left-turning lane that improve traffic flows and link Aldersgate’s legacy with our vision for the future.

THE PATH OF PROGRESS
According to our most recently finalized audit, both our Debt Service, Coverage Ratio and our Days Cash On Hand were the highest in more than 10 years. These represent tremendous advancements in both expense reduction and revenue growth, amounting to a net improvement of nearly one million dollars. Aldersgate boasts one of the largest and fastest turnarounds in the retirement housing industry.
